Our ethical Christmas gift offerings for 2021

Published over 2 years ago • 1 min read

We just thought we would give you a quick heads-up about our Christmas offerings this year, in case you have started thinking about these things.

2022 'Growing Through the Seasons' Wall Calendar

This beautiful wall calendar features original hand cut lino prints by Isla Middleton and invaluable growing advice from her sister Bryony who is the head gardener on the beautiful Sharpham Estate.

It will guide you on a wonderful journey throughout the year from seed to harvest.

Printed using eco inks on sustainably sourced paper.

Botanical Gift Cards

Also produced by Isla, these gift cards feature some of the illustrations from the wall calendar and perfectly compliment it, as well as being superb in their own right.

They come in a pack of four - also printed with eco inks onto sustainably sourced kraft card.

Seed Collections

As ever we will be offering our famous seed collections again this year. We have put new varieties in them to keep them fresh and are also offering some smaller collections of four varieties as well as the usual collections of eight.

New collections include "Eat Your Greens" and "Flower Power"!

Our collections are packed in tactile glassine envelopes.

Gift Vouchers for our online seed shop

We are very excited to be able to finally offer gift vouchers for our online seed shop.

It has taken a fair amount of technical development behind the scenes but they are now fully functioning :).

You can buy a voucher in advance and the recipient will receive an email on the day you specify. They can then redeem the voucher in our shop at any time.

Online Seed-Saving course

What better gift than the gift of learning?

Saving seeds is a fascinating craft and there's never been a better time to learn, particularly with the seed supply issues caused by Br***t and c***d.

Our popular seed-saving course is available to buy as a gift from the course website (in the form of a gift voucher).

That's all for now, we hope that there is something of interest to you :)

All the best

Fred and Ronja

p.s. we are frantically testing and packing up seeds from this years harvest. There are only a few more things to come and they will hopefully be done in the next couple of weeks.

On Wednesday it was the spring equinox, which means that now the days are officially longer the nights. This feels like cause for celebration! The second half of March is when we sow most of our annual flower seeds, so we are going full power on this right now. It's also the time to sow many other seeds - to see the full list click the button...
